I bought these to wear on my upcoming beach vacation to walk on hot sand and in the water. So I haven't used them yet, except around the house. I wear size 9 running shoes and like the toe box, that's with typical running socks, I have both a size 8 and a size 9. The eight was comfortable but didn't pinch on the toes thanks to the stretchy material and sat well on the heel. Obviously, the 9 had more toe room, but the heel was a bit loose and I was concerned about the impact in the water, particularly with the waves slipping off my heel, as well as the possible stretching of the material as it ages and gets bigger. free. So I left 8 and got 9 back. The real test will be in a few days during our trip to the beach.
