I rarely write reviews. But I just can't keep quiet about this purchase - one of the best decisions of my life. I used to have a lot of filters and could never tell the difference between filtered and unfiltered air. They were noisy, some smelled like plastic etc etc. But this AeraMax 300 totally exceeded my expectations! It's so good that I immediately bought another one. Now I have two of them, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. Both are always on. Very quiet. Even when I crank them to maximum manually, they're not as loud as many other brands. I just love her! My initial choice was to buy a Phillips air purifier, but I got two of these for the same price! They instantly detect changes in air quality (perfume included!), change color to amber or red based on pollution levels (who needs numbers?!), and adjust fan performance. I am very satisfied with the product, barring one possible problem. As I read in one of the previews, someone mentioned that their air purifier makes a high-pitched sound. One of my cars does that. Not loud. But it's always there. Almost like ultrasound. I hear it as I approach the car. It doesn't bother me at the moment as I've moved it to the living room which is bigger and noisier than my bedroom. Overall, I'm very happy with these purchases and would highly recommend anyone living in a big city to consider the purchase. (or two :). Thank you, Revane!
