Review on Delphi FG0237 Fuel Pump Module by Michael Hicks

I had the opportunity to spend less than half the price of this pump to replace it with another brand. After reading all the reviews and comments about replacing the pump after just a few miles to several hundred miles, I decided it was too much work to do it twice due to poor quality of work. I chose the Delphi pump because I used to work in a Delphi MFG factory and was familiar with Delphi quality control and inspections. I installed this pump in my 1998 Dodge Ram 5.9L SLT 1500 truck. Since his relief, he has easily made three trips from Florida to New England. Installation was simple and straightforward, requiring the front of the truck to be jacked up and supported. All required items are included and the instructions are easy to follow. The extra money compared to a cheap brand is worth it just for peace of mind when traveling through the Wa and Pa Mountains where there is nobody in sight for hundreds of miles.
