The system is user friendly! It's intuitive to use. It makes it easy to see patients that need my help and what they have been doing recently. Being able to share patient data from other systems has helped tremendously in terms of continuity of care for our patients. Also very helpful to be able to enter notes and prescriptions online to save time at office visits which also improves flow during appointments. One thing I am currently working on with instanthealthcare is updating medication allergies so we are only notified if someone does not take their medications correctly or needs them sooner than normally scheduled (e.g., an insulin shot). If you find one problem please work together with your IT department to fix it because there may already be a better web application out there. We've used an app called MyChart which seems pretty user friendly but sometimes takes a while to load pages/applications so when your trying to record something quickly it can slow things down. It's easy to use especially when you are new at it! They have an excellent customer service team that is always available if needed. I don't dislike anything about this product; however there isn't much room in the drop down menu options so sometimes things can get confusing quickly. This program has helped me keep track of patients' medical information which allows my office staff time efficiency while also keeping our electronic record up date.
