When the product arrived the mechanism inside seemed to be slipping and therefore was not delivering suction. Unfortunately, while I rarely use it - most of my soldering jobs are the occasional repairs to school programs I'm associated with - it's so unreliable. Wise, but it definitely blows his mind. The other star is that the nozzle is so big that it's difficult to get close enough to anything to really remove the solder.
