Review on π Renewed NETGEAR Gigabit Cable Modem CM1000-1AZNAS: DOCSIS 3.1, XFINITY & Cox Compatible, Gig-Speed Capable by James Bartels
Extreme delay jumps.
Extremely high ping latency approximately every 30 seconds. My original setup was a Motorola SB6141 modem with an Asus RT AC68R. I switched to this modem with an eero router. Although the signal is strong, the extremely high latency spikes make it unusable. I'll get a new one tomorrow so we'll see if it's defective. Edit: I got a new copy and changed my router configuration. That works fine. There are no more delays. Edit: Bursts again, 4 different routers used. Same result.
