Works great for most outdoor switch applications.
I used this switch as a battery disconnect switch for my caravan's electric jack in case bystanders or prying fingers decide to operate the jack. I simply mounted it in a handy plastic box for electrical appliances and fixed the box in a convenient place out of sight. The switch is a bit deeper than the box I bought so I had to carefully bend the wire connectors 90 degrees.
