My 1998 Mercedes S500 started to sputter and kick but only sometimes. It got to the point where I couldn't trust him to get into traffic. My little Autec scanner, also bought from Revain for 36.00, saved me at least 1000.00 in the workshop. The MAF code P0100 was the only DTC stored so I bought the insert for 84.00 rather than the whole body for 200+ and you don't feel like the machine is running. It's as smooth as new. It has 105,000 miles on it and the last S320 I had was sold with 356,000 miles on it and it still ran great. The best Benz ever. The final assemblers assembled the heavy steel bodies and built them to cruise the Autobahn at 125 mph all day and believe me it will. Change the oil and do the maintenance and these cars last more than 30 years.
