Loved the look and color. It is more beautiful than the photo on the internet. It heats up very quickly. The size is perfect for me for tea for one or two people. It's not too big and not too small. The whistle works great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it sprays a little onto my hand when I open the spout. The handle on the lid to open the kettle is firm with clearance from the handle, but I still fill it through the spout. I hope and expect that the spring will relax a bit as it matures at the spout. The handle doesn't get hot. I think a porcelain textured finish will last longer and hide stains. The earlier kettle, which was cheaper, easily discolored and got dirty. It is a Vicalina brand and the base of the kettle is guaranteed for life. I have a volume of 2.5 liters.
