Review on 🚲 Allen Sports Premier Spare Tire Rack for 2 Bikes (Model S302) by Narendra Thapa

I was researching different bike racks for my 2012 RAV4 and was considering a $300 REI model. At $50, this one seemed cheap to me - suspiciously cheap. I ended up giving this a chance and am very happy with my purchase. Installation took only a few minutes and was fine. Note that on this RAV4 model, the straps were barely long enough to loop under the bumper. I got around this by attaching a carabiner through the hole I wanted the strap to reach and attaching the strap to the clip. on a fairly windy day. Although it seemed very durable in my driveway, it was still jumpy for the first tank of gas. I kept glancing in my rearview mirror, paranoid that it might somehow come loose. I inspected the bikes the first time I filled up and they were strapped on just as tight as I left them. Didn't bother with bikes until the end of the trip. I am very happy with my purchase.
