Review on 🔌 Pair of Origin8 Cable Stop OR8 CS1 with Adjustable Standard Curved in Black by Troy Arnold

Cast aluminum body, not CNC as described, but the build quality is better than the pictures. The black finish matches my bike's color scheme and thanks to Revain Prime I got them just in time for my build. The base has only a slight concavity, which isn't nearly as functional as Shimano's concave version of the SM-CS50. As another reviewer pointed out, this Origin 8 cable stop does not sit flush with the down tube, leaving a noticeable gap (see attached image). The only thing stopping the cable from rotating is the compression created by the mounting screws. Contrary to one of the reviews, the stem adjusters are quite easy to use - certainly no worse than the Shimano version. We've been using it for eight months, so far no complaints.
