I really like these sponges. I was a bit surprised at how thin they are, but as you can see I've included a photo of each of them partially wet so you can see their size and wet size for comparison. I think they are best used with a non-chamotte clay body (which I have), so I have found that the sponges accentuate the surface of the grog in the clay and make it rough. So for me I mainly used it to add water to the piece when I flip it, which makes the small size comfortable in my hand. They all seem to be quite absorbent (maybe a little more with the orange and blue) and can hold a decent amount of water, which saves me from sticking my hands in a bucket of water every 15 seconds!
