Review on πŸ”§ Revamped Remflex Square Port 3008 Exhaust Header Gasket by Doug Layman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This gave me a few years to race my old 1962 Thunderbird with the 390 FE.

I love how they seal gaps on uneven manifolds and heads. My exhaust manifold gasket was blown right on the front driver's side cylinder (#5). When removing the distributor I broke one of the screws on the top of the head. I was able to put this gasket in and it filled the gap where the broken bolt was for two years before I could take the motor out and fix it properly. The gasket was still intact and held when I removed the engine. I don't think any other pad could do the job. The only complaint I have is that the pad slip slots are on the top instead of the bottom. That being said, I'll use them again for neat repairs, even though my multi-faceted surfaces are flat. The fact that I could run the T-Bird through the exhaust manifold for two years without a headache was definitely worth $40.
