The mirror is severely distorted
The part is installed correctly and is the correct size, but the view through the mirror is not good at all. It shows a wavy image with a lot of distortion at the edges. For example, power poles that are straight in reality look curved in the mirror. The effect during movement is that objects bend and distort as they pass through the specular field of view. The distortion is pretty noticeable even from the back seat or passenger side when I asked my family to check it out.
