I'm glad I replaced it.
I got a new used truck and from experience with my last one I knew this had to be one of my first checks. GMC must have their consumption - bad location. There were leaves and all sorts of trash in that thing. Then one on my Ford F150 was pretty dirty, but this GMC filter was just plain dirty. You may need to check it every six months. Anyhow, the product fit well and appeared to be of the same good quality as the factory product I took out.
