No apparent spec for SAE connector polarity, but battery hot should be covered vs solar panel side, and it is NOT--odd.be careful as battery (or fuse box) is electrically hot and not protected against klutz shorts-- various reverse polarity gender swapping adapters available, plugs end caps too-- not in SAE J1128-2020, color maybe in EA-1128-2020Metal in connector not shiny. Moolsun and Allpowers are/were.No PVC (bad for health) frame to rot in the sun.10W (mostly 0.2A) still low enough to trickle without needing charge controllerDid not disassemble "Built-in intelligent controller".It has reverse polarity protection so LEDs won't killing car battery overnight.But if it has short circuit protection, then why does the weak panel's power wire get the covered SAE instead of the big sparky car battery?Did not try "barbed" suction cups. Looks like panel won't fall off once mounted. But no supply for replacements.Black from other reseller is 3$ more. Ebay is such a wild west nowadays.
