This insect trap is well made and definitely does the job. It is "easier to clean" than regular zappers. It has a built-in "brush" that can be periodically carried over the grille to clean it of insect debris. According to the instructions, it can also be disassembled for more thorough cleaning. Haven't done it yet but plan to do so before winter storage. The only "complaint" I have is that it's noisy - instead of the usual clicking sound (usually a low "buzzing sound"), it makes a loud clicking or popping sound. It's louder than any insect repellent I've ever heard. If you're old enough to remember hats as a kid, the sound is very reminiscent. I have it in my backyard and I can hear the audio around the house when the TV is on! You *definitely* don't want to use this in close proximity to people (like on an outside patio) as the audio will be very distracting - you can even hear it from multiple houses! So that's a limitation (sound). Luckily I'm using it on an empty patio so that's not a problem.
