Overall this could be used to install a small amplifier. The power cord is 4 AWG wire. But better than some much smaller than 4ga. It's more like a 6, but I recently bought a kit that had more jacket than wires. It was marked 4 ga but was closer to a 10. When I used this kit it actually put out enough power. As with most cheap kits, the hardware leaves a lot to be desired. But with simple crimping and soldering, I didn't have to throw away the hardware. The color is pleasant, the wire is flexible and of good quality. The speaker cable surprised me. It is of good quality, as are the connection cables and remote control cable. I would, but again that's for a small system.
