I've had a gerber multi tool for years and I'm not sure what sort of steel it's made of but I always had problems with the tools breaking or chipping. This particular RoverTac multi tool is HEAVY DUTY. It just feels incredibly solid in your hands. It's got a bit of weight to it but when you start pulling out the different tools you can see why. The tools feel like good steel and overall the construction feels like this should cost a lot more than around $20 or $30. I particularly like the locking mechanism. So the tools lock in place with I nice sturdy click. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this purchase if you're looking for a good multi tool and don't want to pay a lot of money.
