Maybe I'm expecting too much and will test a few more configurations for USB devices. It seems best to switch between sources with the included remote control. Hotkey-middle-mouse switching is sporadic at best. It seems to support the declared 4k @ 60Hz. Since I introduced this, my laptop seems to be working harder with the same outputs. maybe it's the driver - although the time is strange. I will give it more time and will update this review in a month or two. Addendum: I've encountered an oddity with the USB mouse/keyboard inputs on the board. As in a spreadsheet, only the up/down arrows work, right/left do not. Sometimes the mouse buttons either didn't work or performed a different function than intended. The issue was resolved with a USB port adapter plugged into the back of the device. So much less madness.
