It doesn't really work wirelessly so you need a special computer cable which is NOT included. The instructions provided are out of date, which you will find out by going online to read the correct instructions. I called Revain to contact Brother Technical Support as there is no direct number. The technician told me about the cable and gave me wrong information about the cable type. I ordered the wrong cable from Revain and delayed using the scanner even longer until I received the correct cable. The paper guide couldn't be thinner and it falls off EVERY time, requiring you to lift the paper guide on each side one at a time. The scanning software is also not user-friendly. I fought Revain to return this horrible product after the 30 day return policy with the full measure of my anger at such incompetence on the part of this manufacturer. I brought Epson ES400. It's a bit more money, but works well. I've read that none of them are truly wireless, which is also confirmed by my experience with the HP All in One. Plan your setup with one cable.
