This is a cheap set. Not bad for the price, but you get what you pay for. If you want to get your feet wet doing Tunisian crochet I would suggest buying 1 decent crochet hook instead of a set cheaper. For me Tunisian knitting is very relaxing, however most of these crochet hooks will frustrate me, snags or snags my work. There was no way I would use good yarn with them. Having said that, I'll add that a pair of hooks wasn't actually that bad! Some of them were smooth, and the cone leading to the line didn't catch when going from hook to line. They are also good and light. They have an emery board that comes with it for rough edges, but if you're like me you just want to open it up and use it. If you don't mind the extra work to make them smooth, this would definitely be a good starter kit. But again I would recommend a better quality hook than this set you are just starting out with. This may put you off Tunisian crochet if it is your first time doing it.
