5 stars, great value. Exclusively used in sea kayak fishing. The size is optimal in that it can easily be attached to the life jacket upside down for quick and unobstructed access. Locks securely with a button. Haven't accidentally fallen out of place yet, knock on wood. The case is made of hard plastic, which initially appeared damp, but after regular use this impression became positive. The blade has been blunted, adding a level of safety that a sharp point doesn't have. I think it's beneficial in a kayak. In terms of corrosion this has been used on four voyages already and it has been used to cut pacifier cords (550 cord), fish etc and there is no visible rust on the stainless steel. But again, all gear is washed with water after each exit from the ocean. This blade is also heavily coated with WD40 w silicone to protect the blade. This knife is exactly the same as the Cressi dive knife but at a lower price. Also bought a Cressi and the two are absolutely identical in every way except for the etched name.
