Not recommended. Best in Water Sports

This knife is very cheaply made. I would not recommend this. I was looking for something to attach to the front of life jackets but they are difficult to get out of the case and put back in. To me; they went in the garbage. I went to a dive shop and bought knives that I trust.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great little knife to attach to a life jacket.

Great little knife to attach to life jacket. The locking clip keeps the knife securely in the sheath. You need to sharpen your ruler quickly if you want it to be razor sharp. The jagged edge is nice and sharp. Read the specs as this is a small knife. I find it very handy for kayak fishing when attached to my life jacket.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Fits

Too small, not sharp, uncomfortable to open

Smaller than expected, uncomfortable to open, you have to somehow. Most disappointing was its poor cutting ability. I tried to cut an old piece of string with a string cutter and it took 5 attempts to cut. The only thing I can think of is if, in an emergency, cut a dried piece of twine covered in salt, it would be utterly useless. The product was returned the same day, I do not recommend it.

Has good potential.

The knife looks good, but it can be sharpened a little straight away. A line cutter couldn't even cut an 8 pound line. The sheets are ok, I think the locking mechanism looks cheap but actually stayed locked. I would also like a belt loop. It comes with a pocket clip and hose attachment. If I use it as a spare dive knife I would never attach it to my air lines and the pocket clip would easily fall off.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Almost perfect for diving and snorkeling

I would rate 5 if it was a rubber case. My knife is 304 stainless steel (better quality saltwater stainless steel than 440c, but it's "soft" so not suitable for everyday use). It is very durable, there is a small gray latch on the sheath (you can see it in the photo), which literally fixes the knife in the sheath when you press the tip. I bought a knife for use in a life jacket (open sea swimming) and am not afraid of losing this knife or that it might rust. This knife is non-magnetic…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Transparency

Cheap knife. **NOT** fits the standard BC line.

So at this price point I had pretty low expectations. and was still disappointed. It is clearly advertised as a "BCD knife" but only fits in a 1" sling!?! seems like a terrible idea to me. A 20 inch shoelace included. [huh?] I have no idea what it's for. And the last option is to just fasten it. It will probably survive 4.5 minutes of the first dive. and the quality of the blade is reasonable and to be expected for this price. But the fact that it won't fit a 2-inch sling is absolutely…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Identical to Cressi without logo

5 stars, great value. Exclusively used in sea kayak fishing. The size is optimal in that it can easily be attached to the life jacket upside down for quick and unobstructed access. Locks securely with a button. Haven't accidentally fallen out of place yet, knock on wood. The case is made of hard plastic, which initially appeared damp, but after regular use this impression became positive. The blade has been blunted, adding a level of safety that a sharp point doesn't have. I think it's…
