My husband wanted them on his wish list for his 40th birthday. I am very stingy so the thought of spending that kind of money on binoculars was hard to take. I asked his opinion on this gift before I bought it. He said the price is very reasonable and the quality is exceptional. I didn't purchase the extended warranty because he told me that the company is extremely reliable when it comes to product coverage. My husband is very happy with them and loves every opportunity to use them. They are very sharp and clear to see. I'm not picky but I trust the opinion of those who are and say they are very good quality. The price is still painful to me but I'm told you get what you pay for and it's worth it.
