Review on Soft And Luxurious JubileeYarn Chenille Yarn In Garnet - Worsted Weight - 400G In 4 Skeins by Nancy Ruesink

Fell apart and sheds like crazy.

Absolutely beautiful color, insanely soft, and seemingly just what I needed even though it was a lot thinner than the other chenille yarns I had by a different brand at the same weight and all that. It shed more than my german shepherd, but it's fuzzy, so I expected it to get fuzzies everywhere. It fell apart at the ends, I was willing to forgive that because I was using it for doll hair, not knitting or crochet, I'd tie the ends (of each individual strand of hair.) and it'd be fine. What made it absolutely unusable for me was the string holding the fuzzies randomly snapping with very light handling and shedding all the fuzzies out. Makes it absolutely unsafe for a doll for my little girl. Super disappointed because the color was perfect for what I needed and brown is so hard to find.

Pros
  • The yarn is soft and pretty but it is tiny and took two strands to shop what i needed done.
Cons
  • Can be too heavy for delicate clothing items
