Compact and efficient

My wireless AIO printer recently reached the end of its life and I remembered that it mine same was old but never used a wired AIO in camp so he took it out and got it running. Unfortunately, I sometimes need to print from both my laptop and desktop, and switching the cable between the two was a hassle. Meet this handy device whose origins date back to my earliest days in IT, the Public Access Switch. They come in different variations, but this is the simplest. Connects two devices to one printer. One cable runs from an available USB port on each computer to the input on the back of the switch, and a third cable (output) goes to the printer. When I want to print from my desktop, I press button 1 on the front of the box and use button 2 for my laptop. Obviously both devices can't print at the same time, but one can start a print job and then the other can add its job to the print queue and it will print after the first is done. with two cables, assuming you already have a cable connecting your computer to an existing device. It was well but efficiently packaged and in perfect condition when it arrived. Installation was extremely easy and completely plug and play. I can recommend both the gadget itself and this one in particular.
