Very sharp graters, paring and planing knives
VERY SHARP! I peeled the apple and hooked my finger in it and it sliced through both with very little effort. The blade opening is wider than most. If you like fingertips, be careful. After carving the first few pieces I finally got the hang of it and it works great. I recommend buying patches.
