Review on Platinum Granitestone Diamond 10-Piece Hammered Cookware Sets by Denise Rose

I had an old set of non stick pans from a reputable manufacturer. They were expensive and terrible. The nonstick coating wasn't metal safe, not dishwasher safe, and not oven safe, blah. These pots and pans are poorly shaped but work well. The non-stick coating is the best I've ever used. They are very light compared to the old set but heat up evenly. I can finally use my metal whisks without fear of scraping the non-stick coating. Leftovers of macaroni and cheese are washed off, everything is washed off. Easy to clean. Now about bad shaping, too sharp corners. Difficult to run a rubber scraper around the corners to get under the omelettes, I can't turn the pan upside down for my too-simple eggs because the angle of the corner is too steep in a small pan. The edges of the pot are so sharp that the whisk doesn't get into the corners when I'm making dressings for sauces. I can work with sharp corners as I think it's a good compromise for a pan that hits so many other targets. But if there's anything to improve on the design of this set, it's the corners. I like the soft turner for easy turning and stirring of the pot. TLDR: Excellent nonstick, even heat, dishwasher safe metal utensils, oven friendly, poor corner design.
