To connect your device: 1. Open the Alexa2 app. On the home screen, tap "Devices" in the bottom left corner.3. Click +.4 in the top right corner. Click Add Device.5. Scroll all the way down until you see "Other" and tap on it.6. Insert the pin into the motion sensor hole. The LED should start blinking.7. Now tap "Discover Devices" in the Alexa app and wait the full 45 seconds. During detection, the motion sensor LED may blink randomly, turn off and on again. Just let him do his thing.8. If all goes well, the device will be added successfully and Alexa will prompt you to assign it to a group (e.g. the room where you want the sensor to turn the lights on and off). Assign it accordingly.9. If this is your first motion sensor, it will be called "First Motion Sensor". If you want to change the name, just find it under "Devices" and click "Change Name". To create a procedure for the motion sensor to turn on the light: 1. From the main screen of the Alexa app, tap the 3 lines in the top left corner.2. Click Routines.3. Touch the + sign in the upper right corner.4. Tap the + sign to the right of "When this happens."5. Tap Device.6. Touch the motion sensor.7. Click "Detected" (when the motion sensor detects motion).8. Click Save.9. Click Change to the right of Anytime.10. Set the days and "active time" between start time and end time (e.g. every day from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM). Click "Not Detected" (if the motion sensor does not detect any motion).8. Set the amount of time without motion you want the process to wait before turning off the light (e.g. 15 minutes).9. Click Save.10. Tap the + sign to the right of Add Action.11. Click Smart Home.12. Touch Device Control OR if you want to turn on the lights for the entire group (room), touch Group Control.13. Click on the device or group you want to disable.14. Set "Power" to "OFF" and click "Next" on the top right corner.15. Click Save in the top right.
