The ERIA wireless motion sensor can be wirelessly connected to a smart home hub, such as AduroSmart ERIA, Samsung SmartThings, Hubitat, and Echo Plus. The ERIA Motion Sensor detects motion within a 26 foot range. The sensors when used with a hub will send you notifications straight to your smartphone when there is motion detected. Motion sensor can be connected to your hub to automatically switch your lighting on when you enter a room, and off when you leave the room. Wireless: The ERIA Motion Sensor offers a simple installation free of wiring and can be placed on any surface or installed on the wall with its 120 degree rotatable bracket so that you can target each area you want. A 3 year battery life will keep it monitoring your home for a long time to come. Important note: Works with the AduroSmart ERIA App hub and app *hub required (sold separately) Amazon Alexa and Alexa App (AduroSmart hub required). Amazon Echo Plus (no hub required). An overly sensitive update deleted it

update. Only worked for a month and is very unstable. Wallowing in the dark trying to get it to work as usual. The app then updated and removed my sensor and procedures and now when I try to add a sensor it can't find it every time. waste of money. This was after the return period so now I can't return it or the hub. Update in a month. Reset Gateway Hub again and erased my sensor AGAIN. When I finally reconnected the sensor it worked every 2 days and then the hub went blue again. Despite theโ€ฆ

Good product at a decent price but could be more

I use this product with Hubitat Elevation. The developers have gone to great lengths to get this and other AduroSmart products to work. I don't regret buying it to test and it works fine. The sensor is a decent size, slightly larger than the others, but its shape and mounting are on par. The sensor reacts neither faster nor slower than other top-class motion sensors. Easy direct connection to Alexa Plus 2nd Gen, no additional hub needed.

I use it for night lighting from late night to early morning. I bought this motion sensor to replace my previous motion sensor which stopped working after 1 year. I like that it uses AAA batteries. Setup was easy. I turned on my phone, opened the Alexa app, and clicked Devices. I put batteries in the motion sensor, asked Alexa to open new devices. The motion detection sensor appeared in my device list. Edited the name for my location. Went to subroutines, clicked the plus button to add aโ€ฆ
