I have had this rug for almost three years now. The attached photo was taken just after three years of use. i still like it It fits perfectly in my messy room/laundry room. I bought it because my back door has a dog door. Laminate is slippery for puppies so I wanted something to grab AND wipe their dirty paws before they fall onto the living room carpet. Never washed, but vacuum regularly. It stays in place and definitely doesn't slip through the back. Not too thick to get under the door and not too thin to wear out quickly. I have two dogs, one big and one small. I stay at home with friends' large dogs, I host friends who bring their large dogs, and I often have two other large dogs staying a few nights to play with my dogs. The bottom line is that this carpet takes a lot of dirty, wet traffic and holds up great.
