Very well packaged! It comes in its own shipping carton. Mine came in a large Revain box with other items from the order. So if you were just ordering the palette separately I don't know how Revain would supply it. But inside the Revain packaging box was another brown packaging box with the brand name ("Hot Sugar") on it. It was sealed with tape. Then when you opened it, there was a pallet in the inflatable air bag. I don't see many companies using them but they are so cool! I think this is the best way to pack a pallet so it arrives safe and sound. If I had a palette packaged like this and a shade or more broke I wouldn't blame the company at all! I would have thought the company did everything it could, even more, but it happened anyway. Thankfully, this palette arrived safe and sound, with no broken shades. And I think it had to do with how well the company packaged it! I always appreciate companies that will do at least what is necessary to ensure an item arrives intact, but it always means a lot when I see a company go to extremes to ensure an item arrives intact. I remember that this company did everything possible to protect my purchase, so I will return to them for future purchases. I do not want to talk about it! I just had another palette from a different brand that didn't even have the bare minimum of protection and had a busted shade that hit EVERYWHERE! So moving from this to this so well protected palette meant a lot! So I would definitely buy from this company again! Okay, I'm sure you're sick of me talking about this! Let's get to the palette itself! π The palette has a pink cardboard outer sleeve. It is made in China. Ingredients are listed on the back, including talc and mica. There is a logo without cruelty. I searched for "Hot Sugar" to make sure it really isn't violent, but somehow didn't find anything. The box said the palette was made "for Chongqing Fendai Cosmetics Co., Ltd." so I searched and couldn't find either. Therefore, I cannot guarantee that it is cruelty-free. Only that there is a cruelty-free logo on the packaging. The outer design of the palette is really interesting! I've never had that before! This is a blue and black animal print. It feels rough on the outside. It feels like the faux leather it's made of. The palette has a certain weight. It's really well done. Not cheap. Has a magnetic closure. Inside is a large mirror. There was a protective plastic sheet over the shadow. I made patterns. I patted the fingers on a clean forearm (no foundation, lotion, etc.). I took 1 smear from each. They were all very soft, smooth and pigmented. Shimmers are standard. You're not metallic when you get that wet metallic look. But they are really pigmented. They are very easy to pick up with a brush or finger. They give a nice soft shine when used dry. Getting them wet will give you more shine. All in all for $19.99 (at the time of this review) I think it's great! The palette itself is very pretty! It's really well done. It doesn't look cheap or feel cheap at all. Outwardly interesting design! It's something else I like! The colors are all beautiful. They work great. They are pigmented, soft and smooth. They fit the eyes perfectly. They are easy to smudge. They are not stained at all. I definitely recommend it!
