Normal puzzles for the price.

You won't win a speed contest with these dice. They have no springs or magnets. However, they glide well and easily. The 3x3x3 cube is VERY easy to turn and has a smooth surface. More complex ones like 4x4x4 or dodecahedron easily get stuck on adjacent sides and this slows down the solving process by making sure all sides are perfectly aligned before rotating. However, I wasn't expecting much from the $20 5 puzzle set. I certainly wasn't expecting magnets or springs. I was expecting poorly designed practical products. What we got were very well made dice that spin well and feel solid and high quality. They glide well, apart from the snagging issue mentioned above, and the stickers are decently durable, although the dodocohedron stickers started peeling off after about 10 solutions. So for the money, you're unlikely to top them. They lost a star for two reasons. 1. The instructions included are tiny so a magnifying glass is needed to see the tiny words. In fact, I don't know how they printed letters so small you could even read them. 2. I'm not a big fan of flowers. Red is a VERY dark red and orange is neon orange. The contrast was disturbing. There are two different shades of almost every color in the 12-side puzzle, which goes without saying, but the shades of yellow are only slightly different and difficult to tell apart without strong lighting. However, they are worth the money and provide my young children and I with hours of fun.
