Review on TOOGOO Bike Bicycle Cycle Crank Puller Tool - Essential Bike Maintenance Equipment by Omar Svagera

Everything you need to pull out the connecting rod

This tool has a socket wrench on one end that fits into the connecting rod nut. The other end goes into the connecting rod and there is a wrench in the box to turn it. Look at the small photo. This is not the ONLY crank puller I own and NONE of my others came with a crank nut puller. Work. If you don't buy another tool to get this working, this tool is a lot cheaper as you can just use it as needed and it will get the job done. The black end can be completely unscrewed. You MUST remove it to attach another tool to the flat parts of the base. The red wrench that comes with the kit has a hole in one end. Place it on the flat points of the shiny part and screw the black part back upside down. Tool. NOW leave it as is and simply move the red handle key back and forth to whichever end you are currently using. That's easy. It's not an expensive tool, but it works well and is inexpensive. Screw in the black part first so the center pin comes out far enough that it DOES NOT hit the end of the inside of the crank. When the large black part is FULLY inserted into the crank, slowly screw the shiny part into the black part. pretty hard. Screw the shiny part in a little more, and if the crank doesn't come loose, hit it again. Warning DO NOT hit the tool hard OR directly with a hard face hammer or you will damage the tool. The idea behind the impact is to break the lever. applies pressure to the hand to release it. You may need to soak that hand in oil overnight if tapping lightly doesn't work. You can damage any tool if used incorrectly. With wisdom and this tool, you can pull the handles all day without a coffee break. For more information contact me at ChiefRedelk at gmail dot com.
