Review on ๐Ÿš— Enhance Your Ride with the Belltech 963SP Lowering Kit: A Comprehensive Guide by Seann Barnes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, read the installation tips in the comments.

Noticed a big difference in handling/ride. A little harder to drive. Took it off the ramp at 60 mph and it held on. Maybe 1 or 2 mpg more on the freeway, but nothing around town. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. It took about 6 hours, could have been done in 4 if you followed these little tips. Remove the rear wheel arches to access the rear shock upper bolt. This is an extra step but saves a lot of time. The fenders are spot welded in 2 places, so it's easier to make quick, narrow cuts with a cut-off wheel and knock them down with a sledgehammer (should pop right off). The back drop resulted in a big squeak in the rear end. After installing new dampers and coils, loosen and retighten the bolts on the rear stabilizer bar and control arms. This allows the bushings to settle and prevents squeaking. Also, I had to straighten the front end after the fall. The caster and toe are affected, so plan for that.

Pros
  • Kit includes: 4763 2" Front Springs, 5318 4" Rear Springs, 10103I Street Performance Front Shock, 2212FF Street Performance Rear Shock
Cons
  • The list goes on.
