Review on 🍾 Encheng 32 oz Clear Glass Bottles: Air Tight Lids for Beer & Home Brewing, Kombucha & Beverages, 8 Pack by Kimberly Williams

I was hesitant to buy based on reviews but I wanted a smaller flip top bottle for brewing kombucha and kefir... for a reason if I wanted to try a new flavor I could have tasted a smaller amount... still at a good price. If you do the math, these bottles cost $1.75 each... "more bang for your buck" compared to other sellers who sell less per case. A win-win situation if you ask me... more bottles for a small price. As for the shape and thickness of the bottles, when I got the receipt...the bottles were in PERFECT condition when opened, THANK GOD! The thing is, some of the bottles lost their position in the foam padding and were found scattered all over the crate. The bottles are sealed and durable, but I still agree with my fellow buyers. There is an urgent need for improvement in the packaging area. Perhaps tape the styrofoam pad together to keep the bottles in place during delivery to their final destination... again reducing the stress and frustration of the buyer/recipient? bottles. All the kits I received were fine... except 1. The hinge was too wide. Not sure if it was for another larger bottle or just expanded somehow, maybe due to different clasps and loops...I don't know but my husband had to reposition a loop to fit it to his neck to match the bottle bottle. I can't speak for other buyers, but this buyer does NOT have the time or energy to constantly go to the post office to pick up new bottles and send in broken ones. So...when all is said and done...although I will buy again in the future due to a packaging issue when receiving the inaugural product and one flap being wider and not fitting properly I will have to deduct a star. As a result, the rating received 4 stars ⭐️. UPDATE: There are other dealers here that are more reliable than this one. Because I ordered 3 more sets of these bottles but after receiving 3 boxes... only 1 set was what I bought. The remaining 2 sets were decorative glasses AND broken ones. Not only that, but the tracking numbers didn't match what was originally provided to me. Needless to say, due to this turn of events I have revised my original 4 star rating and adjusted it to a 2⭐️⭐️ rating. Very disappointed and will buy elsewhere.
