Extra thick for a special fit (see photo)
This is a very special gasket for a special factory fit. My flange has a lip on the inside that doesn't fit completely into the other half, and no matter how tight the bolts are, they won't fit together without leaving a big gap. Try bolting yours without a gasket. If there is 1/8 inch clearance between the flanges, this may be what you need.
