After sharpening for wood carving tools
I just received my wood carving kit from Amazon. Decided to try the knives first as soon as they came out of the box. Acceptable but not very hard. I then sharpened the knives with my Japanese whetstone and then with a belt. Big difference. Now they treat my cuts effortlessly. I have worked with woodworking tools for many years. Most manufacturers grind blades and then stop production. To truly have a sharp tool that is in tune, the user must sharpen it unless you buy a hand-made tool for a lot of money. I would definitely buy this set again and will be buying multiple sets for Christmas gifts.
