I purchased this charge cable to use with Honda Clarity. It fits perfectly and works well. I've only been using it for a few weeks, but so far it's working great. The instructions that came with the device seem a bit farfetched, but they suffice. Using this 240 volt cable, a very small digital display shows the amount of current drawn by the car and the elapsed time; However, the total charging time will be lost when charging is complete and only "Full" is shown on the display. When charging with 120V (with adapter) the display shows about the same current as with 240V. Apparently charging is regulated at about 16 amps. This is good because it charges from 120V about twice as fast as from 240V. (I expected it to take about 4 times as long as I thought the current would drop to 1/2 the value of 240V could.) The display shows the same information as for 240 V, including battery temperature. However, when loading is complete, "Waitingβ will be displayed. I suspect that charging at 120V will not fully charge the battery. Make sure you use a dedicated 120V or 240V 20A switch. Most of the charge draws 15 to 16 amps and only drops towards the end of the charging time. The cable has excellent flexibility and looks like a quality product. The cord hook and 120v adapter are well built making this system in a box even more complete.
