Great starting point for new carvers

I gave these to my husband as part of a themed gift for Christmas. He had said he wanted to start woodcarving now that he's retired, so I gave him these and a few excellent carving tools. Using these helped him learn how to properly use his tools and he had a great time working with them Now we have a new wooden spoon and he's ready to move on to his next attempt. However, my next gift will be protective gloves for his hands!

Great starter for our intro to wood carving. I don’t have a wood shop anymore so these are perfect!

Wood may split or crack during carving
