READ THE GOOD AND THE BAD HERE! (I'll talk about build quality, instructions, ball joints, etc.)

First of all – there are both positives and negatives to this article, and I'll go into as much depth as I can . The complexity of the installation is average, took about 4-5 hours alone, but can be done faster.1. This product is of excellent quality but one key element is missing from the instructions. It's going to be hard to explain, but here's the thing: when you put the spacer on top of the spring, it rotates it exactly 180 degrees. The TOP studs are still perfectly aligned, but this basically flips the spring. (Note that your warning label on the spring is now facing inwards, not outwards, when trying to reinstall it). This is a problem because it is extremely difficult to align the BOTTOM of the spring with the screw when reinstalling. . I was able to set everything as is, but it was very difficult to align. Then I found that the easiest way is to rotate them. Once you have the standoffs in place, install the left spring on the right side and the right spring on the left. It rotates them exactly 180 degrees, so it's easiest to rotate them. I know it sounds weird but you can find multiple sources and videos talking about this for specific block separators. It won't change your ride in any way as a spring is a spring, it just makes everything easier to align. 2. Dodge Ram redesigned the upper arm suspension (UCA) on the 2014+ model. If you install a 2" block spacer, it changes the suspension geometry. In fact, this happens with every truck, but 2014 and later models actually have problems with the ball joints, causing them to slip out of the UCA easily. If you want to test this claim, just google "Ram 1500 level ball joint" and you'll get an amazing amount of feedback and receive reports about it. I'm still giving this kit 5 stars because of its price and it's Ram's fault, not kits - and note that Ram still installs their own 2" or larger kits that do the same. There are 3 ways around this : 1. Size under 2" 2. Use Bilstein shock absorbers (some say the problem still exists but very rarely) 3. Install a 4 piece spirit level consisting of a small block washer and a spring washer on each side 3. If you have a problem with ball joints slipping out (this will be approx 1/8"- 1/4" you can buy Zone UCA for $400 or Mevotech UCA for $80. Zones are very strong and very expensive but I haven't seen any problems, Mevotech is better than standard and I've only seen 1 report of a ball joint failure and I certainly wouldn't have done it if I hadn't accidentally googled why I "thought" I was looking the installation pops b come. This is a problem, but it's easy to fix. I highly recommend the kit but beware of issues that may or may not arise. Again the kit is of excellent quality and I have no complaints about it. Be educated!
