There are no downsides.

power cable is a good material. Copper is thin wire and flexible for tight corners. The insulator has a soft, matte texture that makes it easy to "tuck" into tight spaces. I hate when cables have a sticky texture that sticks when you pull the cable through a firewall. It was a lot easier. 4 gauge ring connectors with insulators are good enough to be useful, which often aren't. The RCA wire is twisted in pairs for noise reduction and has a matte finish. Cables can be split for mono runs. The speaker cable and the remote control cable have a matte finish.
