The bass is super deep and since it's directed downwards you can feel it more. I keep a towel under the subwoofer because it's just gross. It drowns out real music. It may be noted that I'm not a huge fan of bass, but seriously, the amount that comes out of this doesn't do the real music any favours. To be honest I wanted to go back but after sorting out the towel I was fine. I wish I could just connect the speakers directly to the turntable, but when I did it didn't work. I wouldn't buy them again but like I said I found a solution to make it more comfortable.
