I was looking for a ceramic knitting bowl instead of a wooden one and this little number caught my eye. The sheep's snout, ruffled wool "fur" and four little legs are whimsical additions to the bowl's main function - to hold yarn as you knit. The wooden bowls I've found aren't usually sanded all the way around the yarn catcher, so the bowl is ceramic. It's a good weight and won't tip over if you have an unruly ball of yarn. I highly recommend this.
