Confusion during installation

When I thought I had finished the installation, there were adhesive strips sticking out at the top and bottom of the front of my phone. I just discovered that this needs to be removed and that the real protective film is underneath. Before I discovered it, the seller kindly returned the money. Excuse me . How can I get a refund?
