Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance FRAM CA10464 Air Filter for BMW Models by Chris Owens

Installed on a 2006 BMW 325i. As mentioned, the filter I received was a black, brittle, rubbery filter rather than the orange, harder filter that most of us have seen in the past. Glue a strip in the middle and where the rubber has seeped out of the mold. I'm just not sure if it's actually a FRAM filter. If so, there is a quality problem (made in China, by the way). Not sure what "Extra Guard" is as the filter is not shielded as shown on the packaging. Other FRAM Extra Guard filters have this screen. There's nothing on the filter identifying it as an FRAM, but it fits snugly - fits snugly when you tighten the bolts around the filter box and will probably work just fine. Bought from an 'esoteric' seller, arrived in a Revain box but the FRAM box was damaged and both ends were sealed with tape.
