Pros-1) Although they still look great after a month the paint hasn't worn off the bracket so it's squeezing the smaller bottle. It's probably not a big deal, but I could see where weakening it might end up. 2) With my old plastic holder, I could add a store-bought 16.9 ounce bottle. On the 2 occasions I've tried this holder, it has cut a hole in the flimsy plastic while driving. No big deal, just gotta know. I ended up with a longer trip than planned so I didn't bring a bottle, bought one from a store and went out for a drink 20 minutes later and it was almost empty. Use a regular, regular size refillable water bottle and I believe it will work well for a long time. would recommend
