3) I would recommend throwing away the 7/16 nuts intended for clamping.

I have a 1980 Jeep and this unit is anything but bolted down. What is it though 1) The supplied clamps will need to be ground on the corners to fit properly on the steering box as the box is cast. 2) The steering gear bracket casting will also need to be ground to match the width of the included 7/16 bolts. This thing attaches to your steering gear just above the bipod arm. 4) I did not receive any screws to attach the block to the frame, the block just came in the box. Someone here said to buy 3/8 x 1" bolts for the frame. On my 1980 it was 7/16 x 14 bolts and I would use a 1.5" long bolt for the front mounting hole and 1" use for the rear should be enough. 1" in front doesn't give enough bite due to the extra metal of this sway bar. and the extension of the bolt holes to the frame on the stabilizer bar, but they are still too short by about ¼". It will be necessary to cut and weld an extra tube or cut and remove the frame mount and continue welding again. I spent about 2.5 hours before realizing I couldn't get it to work I could probably make it fit but then I would just pull the steering box to the other side of the frame and put extra stress on the steering box I wonder wondered if I would have spent a little more money on a Currie or MORE block if they had allowed a little more variation in the frame rails.
