A little disappointed with this cap. Out of the package it didn't fully match the quick release ball valve bushing I have. It slipped 1/2 inch and stopped. I noticed that my eccentric has a small mold line at about that distance. I also saw that the rim of the tip of this blue cap is about the same diameter as the o-ring. . I found that the edge caught and stopped at the mold line, so I beveled the edge with an exacting blade. At this point, the blue lid could slide almost to the "click" point, but not quite. I took another look and figured that the same sticking issue might be at the edge of the o-ring channel. Sure enough, after some VERY CAREFUL trimming to avoid cutting the o-ring (which I couldn't remove), I pushed it all the way into the quick connector. I would recommend using the metal version, these caps have higher machining tolerances.
